Stainless Steel Fasteners & Standard Parts — Supply & Custom Machining
ZEMSS supplies stainless steel fasteners and standard parts for industrial, marine, food processing, chemical, and construction applications. Standard stock includes hex bolts, hex nuts, machine screws, washers, threaded studs, socket head cap screws, and anchor bolts in A2 (304) and A4 (316) grades to ISO 3506 and DIN standards. Non-standard items — long bolts, special thread forms, custom flanges, and machined fittings — are produced at our CNC facility from certified bar stock.
All material is traceable to mill certificate. Lot testing and third-party inspection (SGS, Bureau Veritas) is available on request for critical applications in pressure systems, offshore, or pharmaceutical.

Key Properties
- Corrosion-free service life — Stainless steel fasteners do not rust, bleed, or stain surrounding materials. Critical for outdoor, coastal, food contact, and chemical installations where carbon steel fasteners would require replacement within 5–10 years.
- No coating degradation — Unlike zinc-plated or hot-dip galvanised fasteners, stainless requires no coating that can be damaged by installation torque, UV exposure, or chemical contact. Maintenance-free in service.
- Galling prevention — Stainless steel fasteners are susceptible to thread galling (cold welding) during assembly. We supply anti-galling compound (Molykote or Neverseez) information with orders on request. Thread form and lubrication selection guidance available.
- High-temperature capacity — A2/A4 austenitic fasteners retain adequate strength to approximately 450–550°C. For higher temperatures, we supply 310S or A286 fasteners on enquiry.
- Custom machining — Non-standard bolt lengths, special thread pitches (ACME, buttress, UNC/UNF, BSP/NPT), custom flanges, and stud configurations machined from certified bar stock with dimensional inspection report.
