Chemical Processing Facilities

Heat Exchangers
Shell-and-tube heat exchangers fabricated in 316L, 2205 Duplex, or 904L depending on process fluid and temperature. Full weld inspection, pressure test documentation, and mill test reports supplied as standard.
Storage Tanks & Pressure Vessels
Stainless steel storage tanks and pressure vessels for corrosive liquids, solvents, and chemical intermediates. SAW welding for main seams, TIG for nozzles. Capacity from 500L to large-volume process tanks.
Process Piping & Pipe Spools
Stainless steel pipe spools, flanged assemblies, and process piping fabricated to ASTM A312, ASME SA312, or EN standards. Available in seamless and welded pipe, 316L as standard, 904L for aggressive acid service.

RECOMMENDED MATERIALS
Grade Selection for Chemical Applications
Grade selection depends on the corrosive medium, concentration, temperature, and chloride content. We confirm grade suitability before fabrication.
316 / 316L
Standard Chemical Grade
The baseline grade for most chemical process applications. Molybdenum addition provides resistance to chloride pitting and general corrosion from dilute acids and alkalis. 316L (low carbon) preferred for welded fabrications to prevent sensitisation.
2205 Duplex
High Chloride & Stress Corrosion
Duplex microstructure gives roughly twice the yield strength of 316L with superior resistance to stress corrosion cracking and pitting in chloride-rich environments. Ideal for equipment handling seawater, brines, or chloride-contaminated process streams.
904L
Aggressive Acid Service
Super-austenitic grade with high nickel, molybdenum, and copper content for resistance to hot concentrated sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid — environments where 316L and 2205 are insufficient. Used in fertiliser, petrochemical, and specialty chemical plant.
